We are a small but rapidly growing job shop in Austin TX looking for a self motivated machinist who wants to work hard and make good money. Mastercam programming, CNC setups, prototypes, production runs up to ~250 units, occasional manual work. Cleanliness, attention to detail, and a desire to learn & improve are critical.
We specialize in difficult jobs, often times we get half-done jobs from other shops that need to be fixed, completed, and shipped in short order. Plenty of opportunities to get experience with exotic materials and close tolerance work. Most of our customers are more concerned with quality and timeliness than price.
A wide range of industries are represented in our customer base - defense labs, semiconductor, oilfield, consumer product design firms, and others. We are looking to add a wire EDM and a bigger mill to our equipment list this year, and in general we tend to reinvest much of the profits back in the business.
