    Locoguy, this is kind of late in answering. I have been supplying 1 1/2" scale castings for building live steam Shays to the live steam hobby for the past 25 years. (shaylocomotive.com) Presently working on patterns for the Gilpin 2' gauge shay in 3 3/4" scale. Visited Cass last year for the first time and found it to be a fantastic place.

    Ok, Shaybuilder. Explain the name. I used to work summers on the Cass Scenic RR. Seen a Shay or two, and have most of a 15 inch 65-tonner in the basement.
