I have a import drill press that I got in a trade . It was already apart when I got it but all the pieces are there . There is a 6005Z bearing on top of the spindle housing & then on the lower part on the spindle there is a regular sealed 6007ZZ & a thrust bearing with 2 thrust bearing washers ...
I have a Waterloo 8 drawer box & the drawers slides are terrible , I took them all out when I bought the box , degreased the drawers in a ultrasonic tank , & degreased slides & box itself .
Put it back together with white lithium grease & their still terrible . Ya have to use two hands to open...
I have one of the old Seneca Falls Star lathes , which I have since replaced with a SB 9A . In the Seneca Falls lathe catalogs they have a pic/drawing of a gear cutter attachment . Were these units very popular either Senecas Falls or other brands ? I've never seen one in person , they sure look...

I see some SB pully covers for sale here & there . I have a regular 9A , are there any pulley covers made by SB to fit this lathe ? Will I have to change the covers on the back gears ?

This youtube was posted today in one of teh groups I'm in . Looks to in the watchmaker maybe a tad larger class . The guy in the video is taking a nice size cut for a lathe this size . I did not notice any lube points on the headstock casting .
