Hello,
I recently accuired this vintage adjustable micrometer. It is unlike any I have seen before, I was wondering if someone had any knowledge on it. I have done some research but have been unable to come up with any information. The frame is steel with wooden side plates attached on both sides. The only brand or markings I can find is a "V" located on the thimble. The strangest part is the threaded adjustable anvil. If anyone has any information I would love to hear it, feel free to ask for more pictures if that will help in the identification process.
Many thanks in advance!
