Themac J-2a tool post grinder cord replacement.

A long story made short I was looking for a lathe chuck in the hoard and found 5 tool post grinders.
So they will be looking for new homes soon.
The Themac J-2a needs a new cord.
How do you open the body of the motor to replace the cord?

Photo perhaps, the cord comes out the side so it’s an end cap removal I’d guess, might as well stick new bearings in if your in there perhaps?

There are several pictures of Themac tool post grinders with cord repairs on the outside of the motor body. And I can not seem to find pictures of an open motor. This particular grinder works but is challenging to make safe.

Looks like it just goes through a grommet(1156) in the side of the body.

The top of the motor was such a nice fit I did not see the seam...
