Can you guys show me some examples?
I want to create a tool database for all standardised tooling on a 5-axis CNC machine.
Criteria:
-It should show a list of tool numbers, and when clicked on, show a side window with a photo, and a list sub components (Cutter, holder, collet, pull stud).
-Also display part numbers of each sub component, link to purchase.
-Organised via tool type (end mill, face mill) and then by series of cutter / material (rougher for ally, finisher for ally).
-Each tool number should have a field to indicate whether it is a standard tool (green), shared tool (orange), or special (white), and I want to be able to filter certain colours so it can only show standard tools.
This is what I have created in the past:
It was ok, but didn't really show enough detail, whilst at the same time being too congested, which is why ideally I would like to click each item to expand more info.
I'm not really sure the best way to do this, whether it be excel, some software, or maybe even just use the tool library built into CAM.
