Deckel FP3 2201 from 1979 Is this pristine ???

We finished cleaning a Deckel FP3 2201 active which we bought in Danmark
The machine is from 1979 So 44years old
And I do not think it saw 500 hrs of use
Flaking is all there We removed a piece from the X-slide that holds the Turcite
Not a single evidence of wear
Paint on the top of the X slide is still there for 95 %
Runs real smooth
Beautiful machine
We put on new bellows because the plastic backing was gone

What makes me wonder is

That is the nice thing about Deckel
Parts are still available in Germany The compagny has no problem in shipping to the US
The Heidenhain DRO you can get a trade-in or a plug and play replacement
Also the drive for the DC motor is still available A repaired one or a new
Price is €18500 EW
Shipping depends on location but is reasonable
Similar machine to Denver, shipping was about €1650

Whar you see is some debries from the bellows which were deteriated because of age
