Hi freinds,
We have a robofil 230 EDM wire cut works with fanuc 18i controller. The axis are X.Y,U,V,Z .following alarms present in system and not resetting.
1. 506 + Y OVER TRAVEL
There are no hardware used limit switches in this for axis. uses absolute encoders in motors and external linear encoders for axis.
we did following troubleshooting and still no progress.
Moved on reverse direction on and Y axis with jog mode and then reseted.
Y axis are in middle position (not in ends).
Changed the 1320 and 1321 paramter values for stroke limits 1. when limit passed the "stroke limit" alarm displays. but it gets reset.
Pressed cancel and P button when booting.
but fault still present.
any suggestions?
