Help ID this old drill?

I recently acquired this old machine with no manufacturer name anywhere. There are some holes where a nameplate was probably mounted but it’s long gone. The table rotates and slides on a Y axis and the head is driven by a splined shaft via a gearbox. Anyone know the maker or origin of this thing?

What is the machine spindle end? Is that something like a 1/2-20 threaded shaft? What's the top speed on the spindle?

I want to see if someone IDs it! It does not look like a drill press to me, although I am sure you can drill holes with it. The construction seems like a (very) light jig borer or jig grinder, but without obvious precision scales. If not for the rotating table and relatively small table-to-spindle distance, I would have guessed something related to a Snow center grinder/lapper, or similar specialist machine.

It has an MT-2 taper in the spindle.the top speed is 1800rpm and 400 on the low end. I will be driving it with a vfd for speed control I’ll take it apart and repair-restore this winter
