Kitamura My2x APC Yasnac i80

Krudkutter just makes it laugh. Im considering using warm coolant with a small pump to try and soften it up. should be fairly safe for machine. No idea what type of coolant this residue if from though.

I just received a Mycenter 2x that also has this same issue of a LOT of air being consumed around spindle area even with no power.

Were you able to track down the reason on yours?

Tere is belt cooling air jet but I have located that solenoid yet.
If I understand the book there are only three air sources at the spindle:
1) oil/mister
2) belt cooling air
3) tool change air blast

Just an update to my post. All the air is via the spindle mister. The mixing valve is on right side of spindle housing. The mister in this 97 2x does not have an internal solenoid so shop air just flows as soon as its connected. However, the air supply for the mister loops the back of the column then out to the mister. It looks like there may have been a solenoid at one point which was bypassed. Perhaps to circumvent improper warmup by operators??

Thought I post a note on the spindle air. The air line to the mixing valve was split at the valve. It cracked further when I moved it. Nice!
