It seems an Ebay link caused the issue, was able to post when the link was removed.

No delete option in edit? WTF??

[Oh well, we're stuck with this unless a mod can do it in...]

Although folks have stated many times there is an option to let the OP delete their thread I've never seen it. It's possible there's a time limit you've exceeded? Alter thread titles yes, delete threads, apparently not. How long did you wait to try to delete this one?

Other posts I've made have a "Delete" option when you go into Edit, which also has a secondary box you need to check to confirm the post removal.

In this case with the OP, that Delete option isn't there - gonzo. Not sure why, I've never noticed it being absent in my other attempts at editing.

FWIW, I just opened the OP again and it still has no Delete option. Weird...

[But trying to edit this post shows the Delete option. Maybe it's an Opening Post limitation, but not subsequent? I rarely start threads, so perhaps didn't notice it before]
