I am sure someone has done this before, but after searching here for a while I can't come across any information. I am putting a taper attachment on my 13". It never had one on it before. I have a taper attachment with all the pieces except for the dial collar that has the sleeve and the keyway. My new taper attachment screw has the slot that would slide in the sleeve. Instead of trying to find the dial collar with sleeved/keyway could I modify my existing screw and make a sleeve with a keyway? Have some ideas but am lost on the overall length. Thanks for some ideas
