gorton taper?

Does gorton use an oddball spindle taper?
Any WAG's on weight on one with a 41" long table and powerfeeds?

Gorton mills were offered with several spindle tapers. Depending on the size of the machine being discussed, these included the oddball GTM (a mini R8 with three flats on the parallel section, available in collets up to 1/2"); B&S #7,9, and 10; #2 Morse (on the smaller mills); and NST 40. If you can tell us which model of mill you are looking at, somebody will know the weight of it.
